However, most of the time, the buyer has his or her own interest in mind and that is the very reason they are out on their own trying to GET THAT GREAT DEAL. Sounds like you, the Seller, trying to save as much money as possible by not using a Realtor.

2. Who is going to secure your home and your family when you invite that stranger off the street ?

      a. How do you know they really are buyers ?

      b. How do you know they are not there to rob you?

      c. Are your children safe if they let a potential buyer in ?

3. Are your buyers prequalified before touring your home ?

4. Can you professionally stage your home?

5. Do you have a high ranking real estate website?

6. Are you available days & weekends for showings?

7. Do you have the tools for pricing your home correctly ? 

8. Do you have a network of professionals for helping you through the inspection & closing process ?

9. Have you read and understand all the laws regarding discrimination, disclosures, hazardous waste and other environmental regulations?

10. Have you read your land use regulations and know what those zoning codes mean ?

These are some of the very reasons most sellers hire a professional realtor. Keep in mind that over 80% of FSBOs end up lising with a Realtor. It is not easy to sell a home and get top dollar without professional help. Rememeber your home may be your most important asset, so handle it with the utmost care.
