A full-time Realtor for 16 years, Barbara has successfully represented buyers, sellers, investors and developers in the sale or acquisition of homes, condominiums, commercial buildings and bare land. Specializing in quality & luxury homes & condominiums, Barbara is noted for her high quality, customized marketing programs. An expert negotiator, she is known for her tenacity, detailed research and creativity in "keeping the deal" together. A Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Barbara has earned the designation held by less than 4% of Realtors nationwide. The rigorous requirements for CRS designation include education, sales volume and the successful completion of a large number of transactions. Personal History
After earning a B.S. Degree from Texas Woman's University and a brief teaching career, Barbara spent 21 successful years as an executive and manager in the insurance industry. An avid flower arranger, she also enjoys gourmet cooking and wines and has a great passion for music and art. Other interests include photography, health & fitness and the intriguing game of golf. She served on the Board of Directors for the Oregon Coast Council for the Arts to expand the availability of the arts in the Lincoln City area. In that capacity, Barbara chaired the committee to host the Oregon Symphony at the Coast three times in two years.

Dual License and Personal Profile
As a licensed Realtor in both Washington & Oregon. Barbara serves the needs of clients unsure which area in the Metro Portland/Vancouver they want to buy, moving from one area in Metro to another and those investing in the respective markets. She resides with her finace, Steve Schmidt, & kitty Guiseppi in Washougal, Wa near the entrance to the Columbia Gorge.
